Constance Hotels and Resorts have a few stunning luxury properties all over the Indian Ocean in Mauritius, Maldives, Madagascar and the Seychelles! For our time in Mahe and Praslin we were super excited to stay at Constance Ephelia and Constance Lemuria respectively.
Constance Lemuria is a part of the Leading Hotels of the World! Being a rewards member and an LHW traveler myself, this resort was our no 1 choice of accommodation on the island of Praslin. It is located on the north western side of the idyllic island of Praslin, and built right into Praslin’s iconic granitic hillside terrain. It also sits right next to two of Praslin’s most beautiful beaches – Anse Georgette and Petite Anse Kerlan.
To create a cocoon of luxury amidst vibrant nature, materials such as wood, stone, pink granite, marble and thatch palm has been beautifully used to create a modern yet warm feel at Constance Lemuria. The resort embraces a modern approach to design, skillfully blending luxury and comfort in harmony with the carefully preserved natural beauty of the environment. In this post I will be recapping our stay at Constance Lemuria!
There are 105 luxurious and spacious villas and suites in the resort. Many of these villas also have pools of their own. We stayed at one of the junior suites right in front of the beach and nestled among the lush tropical palms. It had a spacious bedroom, bathroom and a patio with direct access to the beach.

Our suite was footsteps from the beach!
I love how lush the tropical landscaping of this place was ! Infact the property is so big that we needed bicycles to go around from one end to the other. This was such a pleasure to ride among the lush palms from breakfast to the beach to the room and back.
Lush tropical vibes everywhere!
They also have a little oasis called the Vallee de Shamalaya in the middle where they have free roaming giant tortoises and land crabs ! We loved spotting these beautiful creatures everytime we passed by the garden.
The resort has 3 beautiful beaches to choose from. The real MVP of Constance Lemuria is the world famous Anse Georgette! It is one of the most beautiful beaches in all of the Seychelles and definitely one of the hardest to get to! The beach is within the Lemuria property, so if you are a guest here you can visit the beach without any reservations and will have to walk through the golf course to get to it. Its a long picturesque ( fairly easy) walk – and so so worth it. If you are not a resort guest you can still visit the beach since its public, but you will need to make reservations in advance as the resort has a capacity to maintain.
The beautiful Anse Georgette
I cannot describe the beauty of the pristine slice of paradise in a few words! Anse Georgette was most definitely one of my fave beaches in the Seychelles. Crystal clear turquoise waters, white sands and the dreamiest scenery all around. Every corner was a pretty postcard! While we were there the ocean was a little rough and choppy so we didnt venture out too deep. Anush even lost his sunnies to the waves here unfortunately. So just a little disclaimer since the beach has no lifeguards/facilities around so use caution before you venture in.
We also had a beach picnic set up for us on one of the days here. The resort offers this as an additional activity and it is such a fun way to spend a day in paradise! Under the cutest palm fringed palapa, there were beanbags, towels, cooler with drinks and an array of yummy picnic food to choose from!

Petite Anse Kerlan is the main beach located near the main pool area. This stunning little cove is so picture perfect! Towards the right side is my fave little spot of this beach – I couldn’t get enough of all these beautiful tropical textures of the palm trees and giant boulders which is so quintessential Seychelles. The resort has lounge chairs, swings, etc right by the beach so you can relax there while having fun in the sun.
Postcard perfect Petite Anse Kerlan
There is also another large rather unswimmable beach on the resort, but it was still so pretty for a beach walk!
Beach no 3
We were on a full board plan which is perfect when it comes to dining. The full board plan includes all meals and non alcoholic drinks (during meal times). In terms of dining – there is not a shortage of places to eat at the resort, with five bars and four restaurants to choose from! Here are the 4 main restaurants on the property :
The main restaurant of the property where we had our daily breakfast buffet. Talk about breakfast with a view – Legend is perched atop the entire property with sweeping views of the 3 tiered pool and beach. We loved the amazing selection of continental and local breakfast favorites. My go to everyday for breakfast – their delicious array of all the fresh tropical fruit !
Legend also had daily dinner buffets. We tried the Asian and Indian themed nights on one of the nights and absolutely loved it!
Legend Pool Bar located right below the restaurant is perfect for light eats and drinks while you are lounging at the pool.

A casual toes in the sand beachfront restaurant – this place was ideal for catching a late lunch after a swim in the beach. With tons of salads, sandwiches, ceviches to choose from and a million dollar view – this little beach cafe is perfect! Their virgin passionfruit mojito and fresh mango sorbet was so so delicious!
Diva is a fine dining restaurant that serves modern and tasty cuisine. This whole culinary experience was fantastic – quite honestly one of my fave meals from the entire trip! A must try if you are visiting. They also have a sommelier wine room experience which any wine enthusiast will absolutely enjoy!
Romantic Dinner at Diva
Perfectly located on the rock Peninsula between the two Anse Kerlan beaches, the location of this restaurant is everything! Aside from the stunning location, their traditional Creole food is so yummy – the Octopus or veggie creole curry and the coconut sherbet is a must try! If you are celebrating a special occasion or looking for a beautiful date night in paradise – book this dreamy table behind the Nest for a romantic evening with your loved one.

For things to do there is so much to choose from at Constance Lemuria! Whether you want to try out some water activities, hit the gym for a workout session, get a massage at their world class spa, check out their incredible golf course, go on a diving adventure or more.
Constance Lemuria has the only 18 hole golf course in all of the Seychelles! While I am not big on golf I am of course big on views haha – so when the resort set up this sundowner at their 15th hole, my jaw dropped to the floor! I mean look at the stunning sunset and views from here – beyond gorgeous.

They also have a beautiful 3 tired pool with lots of cabanas and lounge chairs around. With the Petite Anse beach a stone’s throw away you will have a hard time deciding between the beach and the pool!
3 tiered pool area
Constance Lemuria will also make the most gorgeous setting for a wedding ! Or even a honeymoon. If you are headed here on a special occasion, definitely speak with their team so you can also plan special celebratory experiences such as a romantic sundowner , a beach picnic, etc.
How fun are these murals at their art gallery!
Ending this blog post recap with some beautiful sunset memories from Constance Lemuria! The sunsets in the Seychelles were unreal, seriously one for the books. I’ll admit I’m a total sunset snob and have seen many island sunsets that took my breath away but I’m not exaggerating when I say the Seychelles have been one of my top fave places in the world for a sunset ! For the past ten days that we were in the islands every.single.night the sky was so vivid and bright even 20 min beyond the sun dipping past the horizon. Absolutely magical in every way!
Magical Seychelles Sunsets!
Overall we had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Praslin and highly recommend it if you are visiting the Seychelles.
