We spent 3 days in the magical town of Ubud when we were in Bali. It was a refreshing change of scenery from the blue beach to the lush green tropics. Ubud has a ton of touristy things to offer, stay tuned for my travel guide later this week. During the time we weren’t adventuring out in and around Ubud, we loved relaxing at the gorgeous resort we stayed at – Wapa Di Ume. This was undoubtedly one of our favorite places we stayed at during our visit to Bali. Wapa is a serene slice of heaven set among the beautiful rice fields, which makes you feel so in tune with the tropical nature of this place. We got a private pool villa and it was so marvelous. Alternating between our private pool and their 2 epic infinity pools, as well as 2 amazing restaurants we were beyond content!
We had a traditional Balinese meal at the restaurant on property called Mr Wayan and it was SO good, a little spicy but we savored it so much. I wore this adorable Poupette St Barth coral romper for dinner. It is super comfy and so easy to slip on, it was made for dreamy vacay days like these. It has ruffled trim edges along the sleeveless upper bodice that ends in a self tie neckline. Pair it with flats or wedges and you are all set. I accessorized this resort ready look with a straw clutch and a gorgeous hibiscus flower from our own private garden.
Here are a few snapshots from around the beautiful resort. Aside from the pool in our villa , the majestic bed and bathroom were ah-ma-zing!
The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. They also offer yoga sessions every morning, which we tried on one of the morning and the experience was great. We also loved that the resort offered free shuttle service to and fro from Ubud town, making it super convenient to get around.
