For our second day in Bali we explored some fave spots in the Uluwatu area. The southern part of Bali undoubtedly has the most amazing beaches, stunning cliffside views and tons of cool beach clubs and cafes to visit. First up, we went to Nalu Bowls at Single Fin Bali to fuel up on some delicious acai bowls. Aside for the bomb dot com bowls, this place is super cute and boasts a stunning view of the ocean.
From Nalu Bowls , you can take the stairs and trek your way down the cliff to explore beautiful hidden beaches like Suluban beach or blue point beach. Suluban beach has got to be one of the most stunning beaches I have ever seen in my life! The hidden beach is not suitable for swimming because the tide is quite high, but it is super popular for surfing and also for some phenomenal photo opps. The view of the huge waves gushing through every nook of the hidden cove made it quite an exhilarating experience, we absolutely loved it! Other beaches worth adding to your list of must sees in the Bukit peninsula are Dreamland beach, Padang Padang (world famous for being one of the best places to go surfing!), Blue point beach and Balangan beach. For the day I wore shorts and a tie dye off the shoulder top from Surf Gypsy with tassel necklaces. Also love this stunning swimsuit from Malai swimwear. The work on the bustier top is so pretty, you could also wear it with high waisted shorts and a kimono.
For the rest of the day we decided to spend the afternoon and evening at one of Bali’s most stunning beach club – Sunday’s Beach Club at The Ungasan. The cliff top views from the Ungasan are beyond breathtaking! Next time we visit Bali, we have our hearts set on staying at this stunning resort. To access the beach club you have to take a cable car down the super steep cliff – such a fun ride!
This beach was handdown my absolute FAVE beach I went to during our entire trip to Bali. Crystal clear turquoise waters with a gorgeous reef, this beach has it all. You can go stand up paddle boarding, snorkelling or just lounge about in the calm waters or bean bags (YES beanbags!). The food at Sunday’s beach club was also fantastic – we tried the tacos and the Nasi Goreng among other short eats through the day.
I changed for the evening and wore this pretty Tularosa dress . I love the gorgeous embroidered work on it. the dress comes with a removable slip, which makes it super convenient to wear as a dress or a coverup. I paired it with this Lovers and Friends suit . The neon piping contrasted so well against the beige suit. I love the unique cut of the suit and it was so comfy to be in all day at the beach.
The perfect end to the day was the beautiful sunset that confirmed all that we had beard about the epic sunsets here in Bali. It was nothing short of pure magic, these are some of our fave shots from the trip! Post sunset we chilled on the beach beanbags with Bintangs and smores by the bonfire. Can we go back already?! So perfect!
