Hello hello everyone! I’m back after a brief hiatus from the blog since I was vacationing in Bali! Bali was everything and more that what we had expected of it. It was a place that was pretty high on our list of places we want to travel and I am so glad we got to cross it off this year. We stayed in different parts of the island so I’ll be sharing outfits + travel guides from the different parts over this and next week, to give you a sense of the diversity that Bali has to offer.

First up, we went to a quiet beach in the South of Bali called Bingin Beach. While Bali has tons of beautiful beaches with amazing beach clubs, shacks and bars, a lot of them can get really crowded and a bit too touristy to our liking. Personally both Anush and I love more secluded and quiter beaches and untouched Bingin could not have been a more perfect choice. We stayed in a super cute surf accommodation called The Sun and Surf Stay. The airbnb is pretty basic – Simple, clean and comfortable and has a fantastic beachfront view that makes this such a dreamy accommodation. The best part of the room – a hammock and the bed facing the million dollar view ! Bingin is a surfers and beach lover’s paradise – you can surf, paddleboard or lounge around and enjoy the stunning views. It is also pretty conveniently located close to other popular beaches in the south like Padang Padang, Dreamland, etc. Stay tuned for my Travel guide part 1 for more details about this area.

If there are two things I consider an absolute necessity in my vacation wardrobe – it has to be a crochet or lace coverup + a bikini. I love this white lace Miguelina romper from Orchard Mile. Miguelina makes stunning resortwear pieces that you can rock from the beach to an evening out in paradise. This romper has an easy flattering silhouette, a flirtatious halter neck tie and an elastic waist that all makes it a stop shop to effortless chic. I paired it with light jewels like rings and boho anklets. I am also loving this fun suit from Capittana, the details on the top and the strappy bottom make it the perfect mix of sweet and sexy.
