A few weekends ago when Anush and I visited Carmel we got to stay in the cutest lil boutique inn called Hotel Carmel. Formerly the Dolphin Inn, this inn was completely remodeled and renovated to the Hotel Carmel. Although everything is brand new, it has a good mix of vintage cottage chic meets modern seaside. I loved the adorable interiors and decor in this boutique inn, so very well thought off to go with the charm of Carmel by the Sea. Our room was lovely – clean, comfortable and spacious. Location wise this inn is fantastic, a stones throw from beautiful Carmel downtown as well as the beach.
We absolutely loved their bagel breakfast every morning, it was really yummy – especially with the delicious selection of homemade cream cheese and other toppings! Brophy’s Tavern is attached to the Hotel and is a great spot to grab a quick bite.
They also have wine tasting sessions every evening in the lobby. You can grab a glass and head over to the beautiful fireplace courtyard to unwind or even choose to use the jacuzzi for some r and r. Perfect way to end the day right!
We loved every bit of our stay here and will certainly be back soon enough. I highly recommend Hotel Carmel if you are ever visiting the area.
I wore this beautiful lightweight top from Surf Gypsy for the day. I loved the fact that it coincidentally matched with the decor in the lobby so well! I paired it with denim shorts from Hidden Jeans. This is my new fave denim brand that I was recently introduced to. I love the amazing fit and comfort of these jeans! I picked up a bunch of pieces so Ill be sure to share all my picks soon :). I finished the look with accessories from San Diego hat company. I love the chambray band along the panama hat which makes it so unique and such a great summer essential that you can pair with many looks.
