Anguilla is my favorite Caribbean island, and I’ve always been itching to go back. This year I chose to celebrate my birthday at the stunning Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla, and it ended up being exactly the kind of trip I needed. The resort sits between Barnes Bay and Meads Bay – with Meads Bay recognized by The World’s 50 Best Beaches as one of the best beaches in the world, so you’re constantly surrounded by some of the island’s most beautiful coastline.

With three pools, four restaurants, and thoughtfully designed villas that make it easy to settle in. this resort felt like a destination within a destination. Our days were simple in the best way – slow mornings, time by the beach, easy dinners at sunset and it struck that perfect balance between marking a special occasion and just enjoying time away.

 

STAY

Whether you’re looking for a guest room with ocean views, a spacious suite, or a fully private residence-style villa, the property caters equally well to couples, families, and larger groups. We stayed in the Four Bedroom Ocean View Villa, and it was nothing short of epic.

It’s the perfect villa for a family getaway or a group of friends celebrating something special.  What I loved most? The seamless indoor-outdoor living. Mornings began with coffee overlooking the sea, afternoons were spent floating in our private pool, and evenings ended with golden hour cocktails on the terrace.You get privacy, space, and full resort access – the best of both worlds. BEACHES

One of the standout features of Four Seasons Anguilla is its unbeatable location.

Positioned between Barnes Bay and Meads Bay, you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to beach days.

• Meads Bay offers that iconic stretch of turquoise water and soft white sand that Anguilla is famous for.

 

POOLS

The pool design at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla is thoughtfully spread across the property, each with its own distinct setting and atmosphere.

The Infinity Pool

Overlooking Barnes Bay, this dramatic cliffside pool is arguably the most iconic. The views stretch endlessly across the turquoise water, making it the perfect spot for a quiet morning swim or a relaxed afternoon.

Aleta Pool

 

Designed with multiple coves and cabanas, this pool feels more tucked away and intimate. It’s ideal for lounging for hours, whether you prefer sun or shade, with plenty of space to spread out comfortably.

Bamboo Pool

Just a stone’s throw from Meads Bay, this pool seamlessly blends beach and pool time. You can easily move between the sand and your lounger, making it a great option if you like having both within reach.

 

DINING

Dining here deserves its own moment. Four restaurants, four distinct experiences — and every single one memorable. From relaxed beach lunches to celebratory dinners, you truly never have to leave the property.

SALT

Elevated Caribbean cuisine with bold island flavors in a refined setting. Also the main restaurant for breakfast.

Bamboo Bar & Grill

Beachfront dining with fresh seafood and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.

Lima Limon

Coastal Mexican cuisine, one of my favorite meals !

Sunset Lounge

The ultimate golden hour spot for sushi, small plates, and panoramic views.

Cafe Nai
