From the moment you arrive at Conrad Bora Bora Nui, it’s clear why this resort is considered a true slice of paradise. Nestled on Motu To’opua, surrounded by endless shades of turquoise and cobalt, the resort combines modern luxury with authentic Polynesian charm. Every villa offers stunning views, private decks, and direct access to the crystal-clear lagoon, while the vibrant house reef teems with colorful marine life just steps from your door.

Whether you’re exploring the pristine waters, relaxing on soft sandy beaches, or simply soaking in the iconic Mount Otemanu backdrop, Conrad Bora Bora Nui feels like a dream you never want to leave. We’ve been lucky enough to stay here twice, and each visit has been just as magical as the first.

The Conrad sits on a unique location quite different than the other resorts we stayed at and I absolutely loved the change of scenery and the hip vibe of this stunning property. The resort is located on the southwest end of Motu To’opua, a small islet floating between Bora Bora’s mainland and coral reef and is best accessed by the resort’s private boat that will pick you up from the Bora Bora airport.

Conrad Bora Bora Nui offers a variety of accommodations designed to suit every type of island getaway, from overwater villas with direct lagoon access, to beachfront villas just steps from the sand, to hilltop suites with panoramic views of the lagoon and Mount Otemanu. With over 100 villas spread across these stunning locations, each space combines modern luxury with Polynesian charm, private decks or pools, and thoughtfully designed interiors that make every stay feel both indulgent and intimate.

Lagoon Overwater King Pool Villa :
During our most recent stay, we had the pleasure of staying in the newly renovated Lagoon Overwater King Pool Villa, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The villa is sleek and modern, with a spacious private deck, direct access to the turquoise lagoon, and a plunge pool perfect for relaxing while soaking in the stunning water views. The design blends contemporary luxury with subtle Polynesian touches, making it feel both elegant and inviting. Here are some photos :

King Otemanu View Pool Overwater villa :
On our previous visit, we stayed in the King Otemanu View Pool Villa, which offers breathtaking, unobstructed views of Mount Otemanu from your private pool and deck. Each villa at Conrad Bora Bora Nui is designed for ultimate privacy and comfort, whether you’re gazing at the iconic mountain, the vibrant lagoon, or simply enjoying the serene overwater surroundings. Staying in both villas gave us a full perspective on the resort’s unique offerings, and we loved them equally for different reasons — one for the lagoon serenity, the other for the iconic mountain backdrop.

Could never get over our incredible view from our deck!

Best view to wake up to!

The resort grounds at Conrad Bora Bora Nui are beautifully expansive and immaculately maintained, with winding pathways, lush tropical landscaping, and postcard-perfect viewpoints at every turn. Complimentary bikes make it easy and fun to explore the property, whether you’re heading to the beach, spa, or one of the resort’s restaurants. From quiet corners overlooking the lagoon to dramatic hilltop vistas with Mount Otemanu in the distance, the grounds feel serene, scenic, and thoughtfully designed to showcase Bora Bora’s natural beauty.

Insane blue waters like I have never seen before!

Love these stunning pontoon views

My absolute favorite part of Conrad Bora Bora Nui is the main beach. The resort boasts the longest private stretch of beach in all of Bora Bora — nearly half a mile of soft, white sand that feels noticeably finer and less rocky than other beaches on the island. The shoreline unfolds across three spacious coves, making it easy to find a quiet spot that feels like your own private slice of paradise. The lagoon here is a stunning shade of blue and perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply floating the day away.

I mean… look at that that water!

It also has this dreamy palm tree grove right by one of the coves – the perfect spot for an afternoon relaxing under the palms or in your own little cabana.

Dreamiest palm tree grove

Complimentary kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and snorkeling gear are readily available, making it effortless to spend hours out on the water exploring the calm lagoon and nearby marine life.

The beach is also a beautiful location to catch the sunset sky – pure magic!

It also has this gorgeous infinity pool right in the center of the resort. I loved these lounge chairs in the water! The water activity center is right next to the pool and offers guests a range of complimentary activities like snorkeling, kayaking, stand-up paddle boards, etc.

There are so many other activities and amenities at Conrad – such as cultural activities (how to open a coconut, coco leaf braiding, lei making etc), kids club, fitness center, spa, lagoon excursions etc. The Hina Spa is perched right atop the hill at Conrad Bora Bora and offers a range of amazing spa services to unwind and relax. We loved the breathtaking views from here as well as the from the view point located right next to the spa.

Dining at Conrad Bora Bora Nui is a highlight in itself, with six restaurants and bars on property offering a range of cuisines and settings to suit every mood. From relaxed beachfront bites to refined evening dining, there’s plenty of variety throughout the resort, making it easy to enjoy a different experience each day without ever leaving the property.

In room dining! Tropical island brekkie anyone?!
We especially loved Banyan, the resort’s Chinese restaurant, for dinner — an elevated yet intimate spot with beautifully prepared dishes and a calm, romantic ambiance. For a more casual, toes-in-the-sand lunch, Tamure Beach Grill was our go-to, perfectly located along the beach and ideal for a laid-back midday meal. Each morning began with generous breakfast buffets at Iriatai, the resort’s main restaurant, featuring a wide selection of international and local dishes served with stunning lagoon views. In the evenings, Iriatai transforms into a refined French restaurant, offering an elegant dinner experience that feels both romantic and relaxed.

One morning, we also did the resort’s canoe breakfast, and it was truly a must-do experience. Having a beautifully arranged breakfast delivered by traditional outrigger canoe directly to your villa feels uniquely Polynesian and incredibly special — one of those unforgettable moments that makes a Bora Bora stay so memorable. It’s the perfect indulgence to add to your trip, especially for a honeymoon or special occasion.

Conrad Bora Bora Nui is a resort we keep coming back to for good reason — from its stunning blue lagoon and exceptional house reef to its expansive beach, beautiful villas, and thoughtful dining experiences. Whether it’s your first visit or a return trip, the combination of luxury, natural beauty, and unforgettable moments makes this one of the most special places to stay in Bora Bora and a resort we’d happily return to again and again.

Most magical sunset sky!
