When we planned our trip to Palau, I was very keen to stay at the beautiful Palau Pacific Resort, which is the best luxury resort close to Koror. This luxurious beachfront property is nestled within 64 acres of lush tropical gardens and sits on a private white-sandy beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Location wise too, this resort is perfect – close to town as well as the boat piers so that day trips in and around the Rock Islands is very easy.
The resort has various style of accommodation options from beach front rooms and suites to more luxe styles at the like lagoon pool villas and overwater villas too, all designed in the traditional Palauan style. The lagoon villas and overwater villas are located at The Pristine side of Palau Pacific Resort ( more like a small resort within a resort ). Each accommodation includes a private patio or balcony, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and complimentary Wi-Fi. We stayed 2 nights in a beach front suite and 2 nights in a lagoon pool villa so we could experience both sides of the resort. The overwater bungalows and lagoon pool villas provide direct access to the ocean, offering an immersive experience of Palau’s marine environment. Here are some photos from different accommodation styles.
There is one restaurant on property called The Coconut Terrace that offers breakfast and all day dining. The restaurant serves a selection of international and local cuisines. The breakfast buffet here was lovely and had a great selection of pastries, fruit, juices, local delicacies and more. They also have a poolside bar called Mesekiu Waterhole Bar perfect for enjoying picture-perfect views, tropical drinks and treats from the all-day snack menu.
Palau Pacific Resort offers a range of amenities, including an outdoor swimming pool, spa facilities, and a fitness center. Water sports enthusiasts can also engage in snorkeling, kayaking, standup paddle boarding etc on their beautiful shoreline. The onsite spa called the Elilai Spa offers a variety of treatments designed to rejuvenate the body and mind. Additionally, the resort’s Nature Center provides insights into the local flora and fauna, enhancing guests’ understanding of Palau’s unique ecosystem. The beach also has plenty of lounge areas from cabanas to sun loungers if you choose to spend some time on the beach. The private lagoon has been declared as one of Koror State’s conservation areas, and is home to a variety of corals, fish, and giant clams. They also have an on-site PADI Dive Center that provides guided diving and snorkeling trips, allowing guests to explore the rich marine biodiversity of Palau.
Palau Pacific Resort combines traditional Palauan architecture with modern luxury, making it an ideal destination for travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation in a tropical paradise. Check out my Travel Guide to Palau for details to travel to Palau.
