The Four Seasons Resort Langkawi is a luxurious resort located on the northwest coast of Langkawi, Malaysia. The resort is a serene oasis located between a mile long sandy beach and towering limestone cliffs and is also nestled within the Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark. It feels so in one with nature here and also serves as a sanctuary for birds and animals.
The resort features a range of accommodation options, including beach villas, garden-view pavilions, and family beach villas. Each is designed with traditional Malaysian architecture and modern amenities. Many of the villas also come with private plunge pools and direct access to the beach.
We stayed in a One Bedroom Garden View Upper Floor Suite. This luxe suite features a roomy bedroom area with a king bed and sleeper sofa, large balcony with a cozy daybed surrounded by nature and a spacious bathroom area with a skylit, hammam-style soaking tub for two.
The resort has many dining options to choose from :
If you are headed to Four Seasons Langkawi for a special occasion or honeymoon, do not miss out on one of their private dining experiences! They have a couple to choose from and we had the chance to experience 2 beautiful private dinners while we were there :
This intimate romantic setting is truly unbeatable! We got to enjoy a seafood inspired 4 course meal, with our toes in the sand and spectacular sunset views.
Similar to the above, this setting felt a little more private as it was tucked away in a little cove on the beach but still had amazing sunset views. The menu here is customizable and I love how they grill your meal right in front of you. This culinary experience is perfect for anniversary celebrations, family meals or dinner parties with friends.
Absolutely loved how lush the property was! You can also choose to rent bikes to ride around the property as its so big. We loved walking around everywhere cos it felt so in one with nature here, we even saw so many wild hornbills and long tailed macaques on property.
The entrance pavilion is so gorgeous and had the most unique vibes of traditional Malay architecture meets Moroccan vibes.
My favorite part of the resort
Provides a range of treatments inspired by the island’s natural healing energies, incorporating local traditions and ingredients. The spa setting is so tranquil and unique too. We opted for a traditional couples massage here and it was so amazing.
Includes a family pool and an adult-only quiet pool with cabanas. Our favorite spot was the adult pool which was the perfect spot to spend the afternoon. There were private cabanas and lots of sun loungers along the pool as well as on the beach right below the pool.
Activities such as kayaking, windsurfing, and jet skiing are available.
Guided tours through the mangrove forest, bird watching, and cycling tours. The resort is part of the UNESCO Global Geopark, known for its unique geological formations and rich biodiversity.
Do not miss out on exploring the Geopark with the resort. We opted to do the Mangroves and Eagles Boat Safari and it was such an incredible experience!
The pristine beach in front of the resort is a mile long with white sands and an epic backdrop of the limestone cliffs.
Depending on the time of year the beach may or may not be swimmable (there were jellyfish when we were there so there was a sigh to stay out).
But we still absolutely loved spending time on the beach on the hammocks, sun loungers or even strolling along the long beachfront.
The resort is also close to attractions like the Langkawi Sky Bridge, cable car, and various waterfalls and natural sites. The concierge would be happy to help you book various tours if you are interested.
In summary, our time at the Four Seasons Langkawi was a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and luxury. It’s a place where we could truly unwind and connect with nature, all while being pampered in true Four Seasons style.
Thanks fort stopping by! xo
