Our third and final stop on our Mauritius trip was the stunning Oberoi Beach Resort Mauritius. The Oberoi Beach Resort, Mauritius, is a luxurious hotel situated in the Indian Ocean, on the island’s west coast. This resort is known for its exceptional service, elegant accommodations, and beautiful, tranquil setting, making it a popular choice for travelers seeking a high-end, peaceful getaway.
Location wise, its on the east coast so a little different from our previous two stops on the opposite coast. ituated on the coast: The resort is located along the pristine shores of Balaclava beach, offering stunning ocean views and direct access to a serene calm beach with great snorkeling too. It also has incredible mountain views all around.
Accommodations typically include luxury pavilions and villas, many with private pools, gardens, and dining gazebos. The architecture and interiors often reflect a blend of African and Dutch influences, resonating with Mauritius’s cultural heritage. We stayed in a Presidential Ocean view villa with private pool.
This opulent residence is situated at the beach level for uninterrupted ocean, mountain and sunset vistas. It has traditional thatched roofs, high ceilings and a natural colour palette in its decor. Loved the airy living room, spacious bathroom and the stunning private garden area which alsa had a heated private pool and al fresco dining pavilion.
The resort has 3 restaurants and one bar, all offering a range of culinary experiences from local Creole dishes to international cuisine, all set in stunning locations.
We tried both their main restaurant as well as On the Rocks while we were there. We especially loved the ambiance and food at On the Rocks, set at the oceans edge.

You can also opt to do a floating breakfast should you wish to do so at your own private pool in your villa.
Thanks for stopping by! xo
