Our second stop on our Mauritius trip was the incredible Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita. As a die hard fan of the Four Seasons brand, I have had this property on my list forever. Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita is a luxurious retreat that epitomizes tropical paradise, blending unparalleled comfort with exceptional service in a stunning natural setting. Located on the east coast of Mauritius, this resort stands out as a top choice for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure.

Location and Setting :

Nestled on the tranquil east coast of Mauritius, the resort is surrounded by beautiful turquoise waters, lush greenery, and breathtaking views. The area is renowned for its serene beauty and offers a perfect blend of privacy and accessibility to Mauritius’ rich cultural and natural landmarks.

Part of the resort extends onto a private island, Ile aux Chats, accessible to guests and offering secluded beaches and exclusive amenities, further enhancing the sense of exclusivity and escapism. Pretty much all the villas are located on this private island.

Stay :

Guests can choose from a range of luxurious accommodations, including spacious villas and private residences. Each option is designed to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, featuring contemporary decor, Mauritian influences, and modern amenities. Many accommodations come with private pools, outdoor showers, and stunning views of the ocean, lagoon, or lush gardens. The emphasis on privacy and comfort is evident in every aspect of the accommodations, making it ideal for couples, families, and anyone looking to unwind in a serene and luxurious setting.

All accommodations are villa style and range from 1 to 5 bedroom villas, all with their own private pool, garden area and steps from either one of the stunning beaches. Our dreamy one bedroom villa here at the resort was one of our favorite villas we have stayed it, it had a stunning deck with pool and views of the beach and a spacious interior with a separate bedroom and huge bathroom area.

Amenities and Activities :

From an 18 hole golf course to a stunning overwater spa to complimentary watersports, there is tons of activities to do on property. The resort also has complimentary bikes to explore around the picturesque property.

It has a main pool area overlooking the beach and plenty of seating around – the perfect spot to spend the afternoon.

The resort also has 2 beautiful beaches – the main beach area is closer to the restaurant and has all the watersport activities.

The resort boasts several restaurants and bars, each offering unique dining experiences that range from local Mauritian cuisine to international dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Dining venues are set in picturesque locations, from beachfront settings to poolside tables, enhancing the dining experience with stunning views and ambiance. Private Beach on Île Aux Cerfs

The Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita offers its guests an exclusive and luxurious beach experience on the renowned Île aux Cerfs. The private beach at Île aux Cerfs is a testament to Mauritius’s natural beauty, offering panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, soft white sand, and an opportunity to relax in an idyllic setting. It’s a perfect spot for sunbathing, reading a book, or simply enjoying the tranquil surroundings. I honestly thought that the beaches on the outer islands of Mauritius were way more spectacular and so untouched – if you ever visit don’t miss out on taking a boat trip to visit any of the outer islands.
