10 Essentials to pack for a warm weather getaway

With CDC’s recent guidelines which gives fully vaccinated traveler’s the green signal to travel and vaccinations under full swing in most of the US, I am finally feeling so hopeful for future travel! I am looking forward to a summer of lots of warm weather adventures ( albeit taking all necessary safety precautions) and of course this got me browsing all the swim, resortwear and other cute essentials you need for a beach vacay! For those of you planning a warm weather getaway or just browsing around for cute options, here are my 10 Resortwear Essentials to pack on your next trip, with plenty of options to choose under each category :

1 ) Cute swimwear :

Pretty much my fave thing to pack haha cos y’all know how much of a swimwear addict I am! I do love the option of a reversible swimsuit (like the pic below) as you can get two styles in just one set! A solid one piece also makes for a versatile piece to pack as you can wear it with denim shorts like a bodysuit too.

2 ) Coverups :

I love packing lightweight coverups that are versatile and that I can throw over my swim while living that “eat, sleep, beach, repeat” life. I love airy cotton button up shirts, sarongs/scarves (so versatile!), loose caftan style maxis, crochet anything, etc.

3) Beach hats :

A must have in my vacay wardrobe to keep me sun protected and cute at the same time. I alway get asked how I pack so many hats without getting them spoilt. I am a hat lover and pack over 4 hat per trip for options lol so I always stack them and pack something soft underneath the lowest hat and then pack around the hats in the suitcase. If you are only packing 1 or 2, I love this hat clip that you can use to clip onto your travel bag.

4 ) Vacay tote + little bags :

Love carrying a big straw tote that I can stash all my exploring essentials for the day in. Alternatively I also love packing a straw fanny pack or small raffia bag for day outings.

5) Sandals :

Comfy sandals like slides, sneakers or espadrilles for the day and wedges for the night are my shoe essentials for any trip.

6) Casual Sundresses :

For the most part I love picking dresses that are flowy, lightweight and that are versatile. I love maxis, wrap dresses, dresses with a standout print or color and of course a classy white crochet dress will always be my no 1 vacay staple. I also love packing 1-2 dressy options depending on the destination.

7) Versatile two piece sets :

Super versatile options as you can wear them as a set or individually styled in other outfits.

8 ) Statement accessories :

Fun accessories can totally make any outfit stand out, I love adding a statement earring, headband or fun clutch to my eveningwear.

9) Sunnies :

Another essential accessory, I usually pack a couple to mix things up.
