I recently had the amazing opportunity to be part of a press trip to the beautiful island of Nevis with the Four Seasons Resort Nevis. Most people who I mentioned this to had never even heard of the island of Nevis! Nevis is a part of St Kitts and Nevis and is an island in the Caribbean. It is a tranquil and untouched Caribbean island where there are no cruise ships, no fast food chains, no traffic lights (this one totally surprised me :)!), no building taller than a coconut tree and more monkeys than humans on the island ; its truly the perfect island getaway! I will be writing a brief travel guide to Nevis in another post, so stay tuned for that. In this post, I will be recapping our stay at FS Nevis.
To get to Four Seasons Resort Nevis, you would have to fly in to St Kitts airport and the Four Seasons will be able to pick you up from there to drive over to Christophe Harbor from where you will be taken by a 20 minute picturesque boat to the island of Nevis. Four Seasons Nevis is undoubtedly the best place you can stay at on the island. Its location is ideal; just minutes away from the cultural hub of Charlestown and situated right on beautiful Pinney’s beach with a backdrop of the majestic Nevis peak.
Paulina and I stayed at an ocean side room, which is one of the few redesigned guest rooms in the resort. Also just fyi – a major part of the resort will be undergoing renovations later this year for a brand new reveal in the later half of 2019! Coming back to the room – the decor in the room is utterly gorgeous and has a blend of classic elements with modernized features. We had a private patio with a view of one of the pools as well as the beautiful beach to wake up to. If you didnt know already the Four Seasons is known to have one of the most luxurious and comfy beds ever ! Our beds and pillows here were soooo soft and comfy , something I really value in a hotel room. To make the experience even more personal, they also offer a mattress and pillow menu so you can choose the firmness you love best for a good night’s sleep.

Aside from the rooms and suites. FS Nevis also has around 54 privately owned villas and residences that you can rent for your family or friends vacay ! Each one is uniquely decorated too so no two villas are the same. My favorite villa that we toured was the Pinney’s beach residence villa, wow this villa gave me serious inspo for my dream beach villa.

All the decor in and around the property is very in theme of what I called “beach cottage chic”. Look at the interiors of this Great House below (reception area), how stunning is it?!
The resort grounds itself is lush and so beautiful – I loved all the greenery around. It felt like a tranquil island retreat.

As for amenities the resort has tons to choose from; from pools, beach activities, spa, golf, tennis and more. There are 3 infinity edge pools that are all steps away from the beach so you can shuttle back and forth as you wish. I lived on passionfruit smoothies all day long; so my fave agenda for the afternoon was laying by the pool sipping on my 15th smoothie of the day haha!
If you choose to spend time on the beach, you can do water activities, walk the gorgeous stretch of Pinney’s beach, laze around under the beach umbrellas or rent a private beach Cabana for the day.

We loved having our breakfast here in the Cabana enjoying all the gentle ocean breeze and views for days.

FS Nevis also has a world class spa which is like a tropical oasis by itself. They have tons of services to choose from ; I got the signature Nevisian massage and you guys – it was sooo relaxing I fell asleep on the table ! The masseuse had to physically wake me up; she told me it only meant that its a compliment to her! Paulina and I also enjoyed the hot tub and the chill pool at the spa; we felt perfectly rejuvenated for the rest of our trip.

If you are interested the resort also hosts a tour to feed the monkeys and explore the local flora and fauna around the vast property. This was such a fun and enriching experience, we learnt so much! But hanging out with my new Nevisian monkey buds was the best experience of all.
Dining wise, Four Seasons Nevis has you covered! It has 2 bars, 2 restaurants, a beach cafe and in room dining to choose from. We tried them all (yes we ate a lot haha!) and they were all amazing. My most memorable meal here was the ten course meal at Esquelina which was a fantastic experience as well as the sumptuous breakfast in bed that we tried on one of the days with the other girls on the trip. I hardly don’t drink any alcohol, but if you do definitely stop by the funky new Crowned Monkey Rum Bar and try one of their signature island cocktails.

If you are ever at the property I highly recommend catching the sunset from the pier, it is simply breathtaking! Watching the giant pink clouds roll over Nevis peak, it looked like the dormant volvano was erupting pink smoke.
All in all we had such an unforgettable stay at Four Seasons Resort Nevis and can’t recommend it enough! Thanks for stopping by. xoxo
