Anush and I just got back from an incredible trip to Greece! Greece had always been on the top of my bucket list since the longest time and I am so glad we did it this year, it was such a dream! We went island hopping in the Cyclades for 10 days and had such an amazing and diverse experience in each and every island. Check out my island guides here – Mykonos, Paros and Santorini .
First up we visited the island of Mykonos and chose to stay at a super cute boutique hotel called Myconian Kyma while we we were there. Myconian Kyma is part of the Myconian Collection of hotels. This group has nine leading luxury hotels on Mykonos, including three Relais & Châteaux, two Leading Hotels of the World, two Design Hotels and two Preferred Hotels & Resorts. Depending on what you are looking for you can choose the resort that suits your needs best – they have 5 properties on Elia Beach in the south of the island , 1 property on famous Platis Gialos beach and 3 close to Mykonos Town. Each one of our hotels retains its own distinctive personality and a diverse range of accommodations and entertainment options. If you are looking for a luxurious property located right on the beach I would highly recommend the ones on Elia beach (Myconian Utopia is my fave!) or the resort on Platis Gialos Beach (Myconian Ambassador hotel). However if you want to be super close to the charming lil town of Mykonos, then Myconian Kyma is right up your alley! Sister properties Myconian Naia and Myconian Korali are also right next door.
Myconian Kyma is a member of the Design Hotels and the moment you walk in there’s no surprise why! The entire hotel is so tastefully decorated in the most beautiful color palette of white, blue and blush that gives you the best Mediterranean vibes. It has the perfect mix of laidback and glamorous vibes, and sits atop a hill with a birds eye view of the whitewashed town of Mykonos, as well the windmills, Little Venice and the gorgeous Aegean sea.

We had a super cute one bedroom which had an amazing view of the town. Every detail in the room was so well thought of, I loved the clean contemporary design and decor.

The whole property was designed keeping the timeless beauty of the town of Mykonos in mind – so lots of pretty alleys, stairs and pathways lead up to your room or suite. Ours was one of the very last rooms in the resort, so we loved going through the maze of alleys everytime we went back and forth to the room.

As for dining, Kyma has an amazing steakhouse called Kalypso , a poolside bar and a breakfast area where the delicious breakfast buffet is served every morning. If you know me, you know how much I lovee a good breakfast! The spread at Kyma every morning was so amazing , my fave items from the buffet was the Greek Yogurt station and all the other greek delicacies. These DIY yogurt bowls were the most delicious and authentic Greek Yogurt I have ever had in life, so so yummy!
The pool area is right by the bar and is the ideal spot to spend an afternoon. It is located on a terrace at the crest of the hill and has 360-degree views of the island, Mykonos town and the Aegean!

Lastly, I must mention the entire staff was so hospitable and friendly – it was everything we had been told of Greek hospitality and more! If you are ever visiting the beautiful island of Mykonos, I highly recommend Myconian Kyma for the ideal Myconian island experience!
Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
