Apple Picking

I love love outdoor fall activities, whether its leaf peeping, apple picking, pumpkin patchin’ or getting lost in a corn maze! This was the first time we made a trip to an apple orchard here in California. We drove upto the Swanton pacific ranch in Davenport for a fun afternoon picking some delicious apples. This is a U-pick apple orchard part of the Cal-Poly SLO university and is open to public on the weekends. While this orchard dosen’t offer any other activities or facilities, it still makes it worth going all the way cos you get all the privacy and the beach is just a short ride away! We went to the beach right after and munched on our freshly picked apples while watching the sunset – it was the perfect end to the day.

I wore this rose print oversized cardigan from Sanctuary over a casual white tee and denim for the day. The cardi is so cozy and comfy and is such a pretty color pop for a simple fall outfit. It also comes in a black color if you prefer something more neutral. I finished the look with these super cute booties from Kaanas and a bright red lip. (the color I am wearing is actually called Bad Apple by Smashbox, haha fun coincidence ;)!)
