10 Favorite new summer beauty products

I love trying out new beauty products every now and then. I do get a ton of products , so among them there are a few that really stand out as amazing products that I end up introducing into my regular beauty and skincare regimen. Here are my top 10 Favorite new summer beauty products :

1 ) The Origins Ginzing products are probably one of my absolute favorite summer beauty product line. I finally found an energizing caffeine fix for my skin – the Energy Boosting Tinted moisturizer hydrates, energizes, perfects and protects (has SPF 40!) all in one simple step. It is perfect to be worn in the am under makeup or on the go for whenever your skin needs an energy boost. I also love the refreshing eye cream and the moisturizer.

2 ) One of my all time fave skincare lines is undoubtedly First Aid Beauty. The Hello FAB Triple protection skin tint is so amazing! It has become my summer go to for an everyday no makeup makeup look along with a dab of the delicious mango butter tint in the rose color on my cheeks and lips. I also love the Coconut priming Moisturizer, it is lightweight and smells soo good.

3 ) I have spoken about my love and obsession with St Tropez in this post previously. This brand is my holy grail to have sunkissed summery skin no matter what the season is. They just released a Self Tan Express Bronzing Face Sheet Mask which is SO convenient for give yourself a quick face glow! You can apply it between 5-15 minutes depending on how deep you want the color to be. Another solution for a quick tan is the one night only wash off bronzing mist, it delivers an airbrushed effect and a natural-looking, bronzed glow that lasts for up to 24 hours. These are perfect products to carry with you while travelling as well! I am also in love with the 3 in 1 bronzing palette that I have been using since it released earlier this summer.

4 ) Smashbox Cosmetics makes the best primers. I have been using their Photo finish foundation primer for years! Their new photo finish “Primerizer” is like a primer + moisturizer in one. I love wearing this on days I am doing my full makeup. It is super hydrating and also delivers a flawless base for your foundation. Another product worth mentioning from their line is the Photo Finish Primer water, it is the best setting spray and can also be used as a primer. A water primer like this is my choice on super hot or humid days , it keeps my makeup in place and also acts as a refresher/skin pick me up during the middle of the day.

5 ) My lifetime favee eyeshadow palettes (and pretty much everyone’s!) are the Naked palettes from Urban Decay Cosmetics. As an ardent lover of the Naked 1, 2, 3 and basic palettes it comes as no surprise that I am beyond obsessed with their summer new release – The Naked Heat palette. This palette is literally on fire , it has the most gorgeous amber toned neutrals that can be used in different combinations for a daytime or night time look. The colors work so well for summer, and I can totally see how these warm tones can be made to work for a fall eye makeup look as well. In the photo above I am wearing a combination of a few of the colors in the palette! They also have 3 limited edition Vice lipsticks part of the Heat capsule collection, my fave is the Scorched color!

6 ) Bobbi Brown recently released a fun Beach Beauty product line which is right up my alley. My fave are the Peace Love Beach eye palettes , great for an everyday eye makeup look and the pretty illuminating bronzer/blush in the color Maui or Antigua + the everyday lip gloss in color popsicle which is great for a touch of color on your cheeks for a beach day.

7 ) This isn’t a new product per say but something that I have tried off late and am hooked onto! Loving the Supergoop sunscreen mousse, it has become my beach bag essential ever since I have tried it.

8 ) Bumble and Bumble‘s new hair product releases for hair protection for damaged hair are incredible! With all the styling I do, I also take the utmost care in using the best repair and restoration products for my hair. I especially love the overnight damage repair hair mask – it is the perfect beauty sleep mask for your hair. I can vouch for trying out this product for a week and already seeing a difference in the way my hair feels. The Save the Day daytime protective repair fluid also works well on the days I wash my hair.

9 ) Two new skincare lines that I recently tried are Perricone MD and Dr Jart+ . I love love the Dr Jart+ hydro sleep mask in particular. It has a lightweight gel like consistency and I use it over my nighttime moisturizer, and it seriously works wonders in retaining the skins moisture level while you sleep. I also love the serum from Perricone MD’s new h2 elemental energy line.

10 ) Lastly – my two fave drugstore products that I have tried and love are L’oreal’s Voluminuous Lash paradise mascara and OGX’s Orchid Color Protect Oil. Since the shelf life of a mascara is so short (3 months or less!), I always look for a good drug store mascara buy that works well, and this one is less than $10, so worth it!
