Gingham style

I was a tad bit late to try out the Gingham trend this season, and safe to say I am glad I did cos now I am obsessed! I first tried out the trend this summer in this adorable bikini version seen in my blog post here. Gingham is one of spring/summer 17’s biggest trends and its such a refreshing alternative to the usual summery prints like florals. Its a classic pattern just like stripes or polka dots and has a preppy chic vibe that works so well for summer. The key to looking for picking out the best pieces to stay on trend with this summer classic is to look for pieces in basic combos like white with black, blue, red etc. To make it interesting, try looking for pieces that have an interesting silhouette or design like these two fab gingham dresses from Lioness.
