Swimwear Roundup from Hawaii

Here is a swimwear roundup of styles I carried to Hawaii , as well as one that I picked up while in Hawaii. Most of the pieces that I styled, were along the lines of the following trends I am loving this season :

1 )  Off the shoulder bikinis :

Off the shoulder had a major moment from fall through spring, and it isn’t going anywhere. Lately I am seeing tons of swimwear pieces having the off the shoulder style, and it looks so so darling! The best part about a style like this is that you could easily rock the top as a crop top with high waisted bottoms (see in my pic above).  To be honest, the only downside I see to an off the shoulder bikini is that it might not be the best option for actually “swimming” but for lounging about or a pool day or even for a music festival – it would look so darn perfect.

I love this Aila Blue one that I picked up from Shipwrecked Kauai. The print is so pretty, and I love the side ruffles + mesh panel details. If you are ever in Kauai, make sure to swing by this store in Kapaa for some amazing shopping on the island.

Also adore this style from Montce Swim from South Beach Swimsuits.. How cute is that giant ruffle and the wrap around waist tie with tassels!

2 )  High Neck styles :

This is my go-to style in swim! I love love a good high neck swimsuit cos it suits my small busted frame and is super comfy + practical for activities. Some high neck styles can also be worn as crop tops, so thats another plus point for me. This floral one from Stone Fox swim from Everything but Water was such an ideal print to wear in Hawaii, everything about it screams vacay dont you think?!

I also love a fun print on my swimsuits, like this boho sun printed suit from Triya.

This was my faveee suit from the trip! No surprises that it is crochet ;). This Ale by Alessandra suit (top + bottom) is as comfy as it is pretty. I also wore the top as a crop top, so it was super versatile in my vacation wardrobe.

Hat – San Diego hat company

If you are looking for a cute high neck piece without breaking the bank, I would recommend this O’neill set – the bottom and top together is less than $100!

3 ) Piping styles :

I am loving triangle tops with an interesting piping or stitch along the borders, like this plain white suit from Tavik with an interesting colorblocked piping. My fave part of this suit is the incredible fit! I am teaming up with Bikini dot com on Instagram for a FAB giveaway, make sure to swing by and enter!!

This Mink Pink suit (top and bottom) is super fun too! It has a unique stitch detailing along the edges. Aside from that the print and cutouts make this such a rad set.

4 ) Boho styles :

A cool tie dye one piece like this one from Tiare Hawaii is a versatile piece to own. It would look amazing as a bodysuit with shorts and booties for a music festival too! Love the lace up detail in the neckline and low back.

And lastly, this mixed prints set from Revel rey is the bomb. The bottom is reversible – one side has a hot pink, the other side has a mixed print with tassel detail. The top is a subtle neutral leopard print.
