For the second part of my stay in Hawaii, Anush joined me as well and we were in Kauai for 4 days. It was so good to revisit our fave Hawaiian island after 2 years and relive our memories as well as make new ones. Stay tuned for posts from Kauai all through this week, and if you missed my Oahu post , check it out here.
The north shore in Kauai is truly heaven on earth, when you visit this area you will be reminded why this is actually called the Garden island of the Hawaiian islands. Everything is so lush, tropical and beyond beautiful. Hanalei Bay is the largest bay on the north shore and consists of nearly two miles of beach, surrounded by beautiful mountains. The town of Hanalei itself is so quaint and charming, it has tons of galleries, cafes and places to visit. After a busy day of soaking up Hanalei Town’s history and charm, heading to the Bay to relax and watch a luminous sunset seems like the perfect thing to do! We were told about how stunning it would be to catch the sunset from Hanalei Bay. Anush and I certainly have a thing for sunsets and beaches, we always try and catch atleast 1 beautiful sunset wherever we travel and in this trip to Hawaii, this sunset had to be the winning one! The whole town was out on the bay, and even though it was actually crowded it didn’t seem “crowded” cos the beach is so so big! The sky really put on a super color show for us that evening lighting up in hues of blues, pinks and oranges, it was simply breathtaking.
We had planned to head to our fave spot in town Tahiti Nui for dinner that evening, so I wore this lovely maxi dress from Tiare Hawaii , which by the way is one of my fave Hawaiian brands. The dress is so comfy and flows like a dream with its double slits. It has a smocked bust and romantic off the shoulder sleeves. I paired the dress with embellished sandals and my blue Cuppajyo hat. For jewelry I wore this delicate choker from 2 Bandits and a cuff + matching rings from Kendra Scott. This dress is so perfect for spring/summer and also comes in other colors and prints, linked them in the carousel below.
