The three fabrics that have been on repeat this holiday season are velvet, sequins and satin! And just like velvet, I love love satin dresses for their versatility to be worn even outside of holiday season. I know in most of the country its the beginning of winter right now so the thought of actually wearing a slinky slip dress in the cold might not look quite appealing to many. Which is why I wanted to show how you could style slip dresses in the winter and make it holiday ready too! I love this Blue Life rainy grey maxi slip dress from Planet Blue. It comes in SO many other gorgeous colors and subtle prints, both in the maxi and mini version. The silky satin dress is super soft and flows so beautifully. It has a subtle tie dye design, scoop neckline and skinny straps. You can either wear it as is (if you are lucky enough to live in a warm place!) and dress it up with a choker and bootie. Or layer it with a luxe bodysuit like this velvet black bodysuit as I have. I love the texture mix of 2 of my fave holiday fabrics! I finished off this look with black booties and layered tassel necklaces. Both the maxi and mini slip dresses can be also worn in other seasons and can be easily dressed down with layering over a tee and pairing with sneaks. I linked all my fave maxi and mini Blue Life slip dresses in the carousel below. Also make sure to swing by Planet Blue to check out their amazing Holiday Shop, they have soo many cute holiday options for the season and NYE, with tons of great deals!
