Laguna Beach House

The second place we stayed at while we were in Laguna beach for the Thanksgiving weekend was the cutest boutique inn called Laguna Beach House. Check out where we stayed first here. The moment I stepped into this place I knew that we were totally a match made in heaven! The decor and vibe of this place is Cali boho-beachy perfection – precisely the aesthetic most true and dear to my heart, both style and interior wise! Everything was so well thought of to resonate Socal’s surf culture and vintage feel. I mean, look at this coastal chic lobby so much inspo right there – LOVE!

The pool area is quaint and has beautiful views all around. Since it was a little too chilly for the pool, we got some hot tub time while we were there, while munching on some complimentary milk +cookies in the late evening – yumm!

The room was so so cute – the casual Cali surf culture showed in the decor of the room as well. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and never ending palm trees in the backdrop. I love the surfboard as a headboard – might have to steal that idea ;).

The inn is just minutes away from one of our fave parks in the town Heisler Park. We walked over to Diver’s Cove and caught an unreal sunset on one of the nights. This one was seriously one for the books – the sky looked like it was on fire, so beautiful!

Just a short drive from the Inn is also another fave state park called Crystal Cove. if you are ever in the area, I recommend you visit the Beachcomber Cafe at the park for brunch. Aside from the yummy food, the location and views are beyond stunning.  All in all , this was a very memorable stay , we cant wait to be back in the summer!

Here’s a quick outfit runthrough – I wore this tie dye Indah jumpsuit on the first night , I could not have been more excited for how well I blended in with this place! It also comes in a romper version that I love. I accessorized it with this pearl wrap bolo from J Ervan jewelry.

For beach visits, I decided to ditch my beloved bikinis and go down the cozy knits route to keep myself warm in the rather unusual chilly Laguna weather. For sunset at Heisler park I wore this basic cold shoulder henley and a chunky cardi. I absolutely love this henley and have linked a few alternatives as well, which are great to work in layers for the fall.

For Crystal Cove, I wore a turtleneck sleeveless knit with dark skinnies and a leather jacket to stay warm in the wind. I am loving sleevless knits for the fall , thanks to their incredible versatility – you can wear it as is over a jeans  or you can wear it over a full sleeved dress or tee for a different look.
