The Inn at Laguna Beach

Over the Thanksgiving break, Anush and I decided to take a little roadtrip to SoCal and visited Laguna Beach. It was our first time in the Orange County, and we were so in love with the vibe of this place! I can totally see myself living here. Although I love love Norcal I have always had a soft corner for Southern California cos of the warmer temperatures and its cool beach vibe.  Unfortunately the weather was rainy all weekend long, but we made the most of it despite the bad weather. I can’t wait to visit back in the summer!

The first place we chose to stay at was an adorable inn called The Inn at Laguna Beach which is right on Main Beach. The charming inn has a modern meets classic California vibe. Our room had a fantastic view of the beach, it was great to spend mornings here watching the locals and tourists walk along the beach, as well as the beautiful view of Laguna Hills.

When the weather permits Laguna’s beaches are great for surfing and paddleboarding, and also seeing exciting marine life in the tidepools at the shore. My favorite part of the inn was definitely the terrace which had an amazing 360 degree view of the town, hills and the beach. They served wine there every evening and it was the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day, while catching the beautiful wintery sunset.

Aside from the comfort and amenities of the inn itself, the thing that Anush and I loved most about it was the fantastic location – all the boutiques, shops and restaurants are literally a stone’s throw from the Inn and we were able to walk everywhere! Every morning we would have a quick coffee and step right out for a quick morning walk on Main Beach.

We absolutely enjoyed our short but sweet stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Stay tuned to see the second part of our stay at Laguna at yet another fun boutique inn in my next blog post.

A few quick words about my outfit – I wore these stunning boho pants from Hemant and Nandita the day I got to Laguna. Though the weather was gloomy, I wanted my outfit to be bright and chirpy! I love the eclectic print and the giant tassel ties. I made the pants fall appropriate by throwing on this warm cozy knit from RD Style over it.

Since I had packed expecting for a warm weekend, I had to make-do with my wardrobe for the sudden change in weather! So the next day I wore this fun Isabella Rose romper with a distressed denim jacket for a quick morning stroll along Main Beach.
