If you follow me on Instagram you might know that recently Anush and I were in the Bahamas for a couple of days for a mini vacay. Our getaway was nothing short of spectacular and we couldnt have picked a more perfect location. This was our first time to the Bahamas and we were sure of one thing – we didn’t want to go to any of the touristy big towns like Nassau, but instead wanted to stay on a tiny island and live like a local to get the real experience of island life. We stayed on a little island called Staniel Cay in the Exumas which are the outer islands in the Bahamas. I will be sharing a full recap + travel guide to the Exumas later this week on the blog so stay tuned!
The Bahamian sunsets are absolutely gorgeous. On a clear day, the sky lights up in hues of pink and blue during dusk that make the prettiest scene to gaze at! I wore this beautiful white dress from Anna Kosturova for dinner on one of the nights. The handmade crochet trim and tassel details along the neckline and bottom hem is so lovely. I wanted to keep the whole outfit white and beige so I paired it with this gorgeous raffia clutch from Kayu and sandals from Cocobelle. I finished this island look with a flower in my hair. I also found the romper and other versions of this piece (different colored trims!), so check out the carousel below.
