Wilder Ranch

I am a huge animal lover; being born and brought up having many pets and also growing up with frequent visits to our family estates, my love for my furry friends only grew ! We met this handsome fella on a recent visit to Wilder Ranch State Park in Santa Cruz. It was my first time to this state park and all I kept telling myself was how have I not been here before?! The park is huge, but we were able to cover the ranch wheer all the farm animals and museums were there – super cute and quaint location ideal for a summer picnic; as well as a short walk along the ocean bluffs. The hike along the ocean bluffs is absolutely phenomenal and fairly easy since its all flat. You can also choose to bring your bikes and bike along this path. We got to see so many seals, birds and other protected wildlife it was so beautiful! I can’t wait to bring Anush back here since he missed out this time around.

Trying to pose around him was the most hilarious sight for others to see, as I dont know why he always wanted to bite me (in a friendly way! haha). My friend/photographer Paulina was all laughs when he was trying to grab a hold of my everything, my bracelet, hand and hat ! It was so absurd cos I didnt see him doing this to any of the others trying to pet him , oh well I would take that as a sign that he really liked me which makes me so excited! These were a few of the decent photos we were able to grab before Mr Studmuffin had his tongue hanging out – so funny you guys! (see the first photo for proof haha!)

I wore this adorable two piece gingham set from Gillia clothing for the day. The top is a wrap top with puff sleeves and can be worn multiple ways – tied in the front or criss crossed over the bust around the back and tied on the side (like I have). These wide legged pants high waisted pants are summer perfection – loose, comfy and an overall flattering fit. Pair with wedges or flats and throw on a hat and you’re all set. I love this gorgeous Janessa Leone one from Bella Rosa Boutique in Los Gatos. The camel color and blue band accent complimented my look so well!
