For those of you who have been following along on Instagram, you must know that I just returned from a trip to Florida. First up, was Swim week in Miami, it was my first time attending and boy oh boy was it a BLAST! It had been years since I had been to Miami (the last time probably being spring break back in college!) and it was everything I had remembered it to be – hot, humid, always alive and simply awesome. I barely had time to eat, breathe or sleep , but it was pure adrenaline that pushed me through all the fun and frenzy. I loved every second of it and cant wait to be back next year!
Just to recap real quick – Miami swim week consists of not only runway shows where designers showcase their newest season collections, but also a bunch of swimwear trade shows, parties and other industry related events. Swim Show is the largest swimwear trade show in the world! It attracts 7,500 brands and buyers from 60 countries across the world. The show offers not only swimwear, but also resort and lifestyle accessories of the like. Being a swim influencer myself, it was an incredible experience to attend the trade show from a media perspective, as I got to meet so many brands that I work with (face to face for the very first time!) as well and meet + network with many new brands and like minded individuals in the industry.
I wore this comfy off the shoulder printed romper from Vamastyle for the day. I love the two toned blue color of the romper and the adjustable tassel ties that make the overall look more flattering by clinching at the waist. I paired it with gladiator flats and a raffia bucket bag from Hat Attack.
