Denim Days

Recently I have been wearing one too many Denim Dresses (see here and here), but I cant seem to help myself, they look so so cute! The denim dress is such a cool alternative on those days when you’re feeling it to be like one of those casual denim days, but still want the option of wearing a dress. I have a love affair with this buttoned down one from Hidden Jeans ! Snap buttons, a frayed bottom and side pockets are just a few of the adorable details in this dress. I can already think of a million ways to style it – wear it buttoned down as is, or unbutton a couple of buttons at the bottom to show some leg action. You could also wear a pretty bralette underneath and unbutton the top few buttons or better – pair the bralette with a pair of high waisted shorts and wear the denim dress completely unbuttoned as it were a light coat. This is a great closet staple to own, that you will reach out for over and over again! I opted for the light wash, but it also comes in other colors like classic blue, dark wash and black.

To add pops of color and interest to my overall look, I added this gorgeous hat + watch combo from Sara Designs. I love the bright pom poms + the leather and jewel accents around this hat. And this wrap watch is perfect for creating the look of a watch + arm stack with just one piece.
