After Joshua Tree, we headed to Palm Springs for a few days. We chose to stay in a gorgeous boutique inn called Korakia Pensione which is a romantic desert retreat that makes you feel like you stepped into a Moroccan or Mediterranean dream! Forbes Traveler named Korakia one of the “Sexiest Hotels in America” and rightly so! All the villas as well as the entire outdoor space are styled either in the Moroccan or Mediterranean way. It is the ultimate place to relax and unwind from reality, whether you choose to take a dip in their salt water pools, pamper yourself with a spa or yoga session, go for a bike ride around the neighbourhood or catch a read in their beautiful library.

Some of my favorite activities here were the Moroccan tea session in the afternoons , where I was also able to also meet the most cuddly friend :). As the evening sets in, Korakia transforms into the magical paradise as the staff lights hundreds of candles and lanterns around the property every night! They also show classic vintage movies every night in an open air setting – nothing like soaking in that warm desert night air and enjoying a classic fave under the stars !

On the day we checked in I wore this adorable floral romper from Amuse Society. I love the smocked top and flowy breezy shorts. It was perfect to stay cool in the hot and sultry Palm Springs weather. Point to note – if you are headed to PS in the summer, make sure to pack only cool airy pieces that you can breathe in as it can get very hot! I finished this look with with my fave espadrille wedges and straw hat. These wedges are from Extrafine Footwear and come with two sets of  laces so you can change the look.

For the next day my agenda was just to lounge by the pool while enjoying the beautiful view of the gorgeous San Jacinto mountains. I am loving Hemant and Nandita‘s summer collection and this bohemian coverup is one of my absolute favorite pieces this summer! It has a beautiful embroidered front with lots of tassel details at the bottom hem and a giant pom tie.
