Recently, Anush and I discovered a beautiful hidden cove along highway 1. WE had always heard of Shark Fin Cove and had seen it passing by while driving down the highway several times, but had never really gotten down to the actual beach. Honestly, this was one of the prettiest beaches we have seen here in Norcal. The beach itself isnt too big, but the views are beyond spectacular! The name comes from the large geologic rock that stands in the cove, that looks like a giant shark fin. Other than this stunning structure the beach also has a beautiful sea cave on one side which might or might not be accessible based on the time of day ( based on the tide). Either way, this tiny cove is a photographers dream, thanks to the myriad of photo opps – especially during sunset!
I wore a pretty printed romper from Eberjey for the day. I love the interplay of colors and patterns that makes this such a unique eye catching number. This lightweight coverup is perfect to through over your swimmers and is super comfy.
Eberjey makes the most dreamy intimates and hence its no surprise that their swimwear is also equally as stunning + flattering. I wore this ikat printed bikini also from Eberjey underneath my romper. I would like to think that Ikat is like an ethnic version of polka dots! This boho chic print is very dear to me thanks to it being super popular in Indian fabrics. My favorite style of bikini tops is definitely the bandeau and high neck (very flattering for small busted women 🙂 ).
This bandeau top has a subtle romantic scalloped edge and a sexy deep v cut between the cups, that helps to create that illusion of a cleavage for those who need it ;). The bottom also has a slightly ruffled edge and ruching at the back to accentuate that bootay, haha. eriously now that I also do blog quite a bit about swimwear, I have come to learn that little details like this matter SO much in the overall look. So I give this set a 100 points in the style, fit and comfort department !
