Cowell Ranch Beach

We recently visited another gem of a trail and beach along the pristine coastline of Pacific Highway 1. Cowell Ranch Beach is just a few miles south of Half Moon Bay and consists of two secluded pocket beaches that can be approached from a parking lot on Highway 1. A scenic short half-mile trail leads to the stunning bluffs that overlook the two beaches. Seal Beach, on the left is a harbor seal protection area and is closed to the public. But we were lucky to catch glimpses of the seals basking on the beach. On the right is the public beach that can be accessed by stairs . This long sandy cove is absolutely stunning, secluded and so untouched. I have to keep pinching myself to realise how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place! The weather was incredible (in the upper 80s!) so it definitely was short shorts weather for me! I paired my denim shorts with this gorgeous embroidered blouse from Grecian designer Elina Lebessi. A wide brim hat is my go to summer accessory as it not only looks so trendy but also helps with sun protection. This beautiful handmade one from Brookes Boswell in Oregon was custom made to order based on my head size, so the fit was so perfect. This straw hat is definitely a one of a kind as the craftsmanship is just incredible. It features a pinched crown and a woven edge brim, and is perfect for a summery day. I finished the look with a fringed crossbody from Roam Rumah that featured pretty shellwork detailing on the front.
