Olive Green is a huge color trend for spring/summer 2015. This gorgeous shade of green has transitioned past fall and has made its way into warm weather season and I couldn’t be more excited! This dress from Young, Fabulous and Broke is the perfect casual dress for spring and summer! It is super comfy, flattering and so effortlessly chic. It is made from a soft silky fabric and has a deep V front and long side slits that look so stylish with movement. The inner spandex mini dress underneath is removable, so you can even choose to wear the top layer as a cover up, or as a maxi top over a bralette + ripped skinnies. It comes in 2 other colors as well.
I paired the dress with gladiator sandals, another trend that will be raging this spring and summer. I added a few minimal choker style necklaces and layered with a denim jacket to finish the look. This would also look so fab paired with a moto leather jacket and heels for a casual night out.
I love love this gorgeous handcrafted bag by Manos Zapoteca. These beautiful bags are made by Zapotec weavers using time honored traditions in Teotitlan del Valle, Oaxaca, Mexico. This is such a great everyday tote. Apart from the beautiful handwoven detailing, I love the fact that it is very roomy and comfy to carry for long days.
If you follow me on Instagram, you might know of my mild obsession with braids! While I can braid my hair every now and then, I love working with talented hair artists to create styles that are way beyond my skill level. I am super amazed at this beautiful half up hald down do that was created by Emma from Emma’s Parlour! She is crazy talented and so sweet in person. She recently moved to the Bay Area, so SF and Bay area lovelies, you have to look her up on Instagram , go stalk her and contact her for all your hairstyling needs!
This picture pretty much sums up all my feels in this post – “Olive you SF and braids very much!”
