Mt Tam

I can’t believe it took me this long to head up to Mt Tam, when we live so close to it! A short drive from us, and about an hour from the city is Mount Tamalpais state park in Marin county. I met up with 2 amazing adventure photographers – Nathaniel and Johnny and we set off to Mt Tam to explore for the day. The weather was beyond brilliant and couldn’t have been more perfect for a day of exploring. Whether you are interested in going for a hike or just taking some time off to take in all the beauty and self reflect, or wanting to take some epic photos – this place is absolutely magical. We made several stops along the way and I couldn’t stop telling the guys “omg so beautiful!”. We stayed all the way uptill sunset which was so so incredibly beautiful – the sky lit up in hues of pink and orange while the clouds rolled in over the trees (we were over the clouds), so the sight was just breathtaking. I would have to put this place up in my favorite places I have seen in California for sure!

And of course I was dressed so appropriately for a day of exploring, haha! But in all seriousness, I loveee love wearing a flowy dress if exploring just means making many stops and enjoying the beauty ;). I would definitely advice you to wear something more comfy if you are in for the hikes. This beautiful boho maxi dress from Chicwish is everything, it flows so beautifully in the wind. Clinch it with a belt and pair with booties and a few tassel necklaces and you are all set. This particular necklace set from Zacasha is from the premium collection and is gold plated and made from Lava Stones from Bali. You can also throw on a leather jacket over the dress for a night out to add a touch of edge to the look.
