Even though Villa Del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto is a luxury resort, they have made every effort to maintain the rustic feel of the place so that you feel one with nature here. On our first day we were up bright and early to explore the beautiful resort. I wanted to stay comfy for the day so I wore an easy breezy white Le salty Label tank with printed light blue shorts. I love the mesh panels and open back in this top, a perfect way to stay cool on a hot day! I adorned my hands with flash tats so that I could go sans accessories for the most part, except for my trusty Sintillia sunglass straps so that I hang onto my sunnies.
One of my favorite areas in the resort are these lazy hammocks which are right by the ocean, an ideal spot to catch the sunrise or sunset.
After a sumptuous Mexican breakfast, we headed to see the beautiful 18 hole golf course at the resort. If you are a golfer, consider adding this to your bucket list! The views of both the Danzante Bay and the Sea of Cortez are spectacular from just about every hole, especially from the 17th hole! Well and if you’re not a golfer like me, this location also makes for a magnificent backdrop for a photo right ;)?!
Next up we were pampered at the world class Sabila Spa for a couples massage for our anniversary. The Spa and wellness center also offer a variety of other services, including juice cleanses and wellness programs. This particular spa has been named one of Mexico’s Best Spas by SpaFinder, and rightly so – our massage and entire experience was so incredible and left us feeling completely rejuvenated! This was the beautiful entrance door to the Spa.
