I had always dreamed of being on a small private island with the love of my life with the perfect beach, white sands, palm trees and all the works. Huge thanks to Maafushivaru for making my dream come true and arranging for us to visit their sister island Lonubo, a stunning deserted island in the neighbouring lagoon. Our private island – Lonubo was perfection in every sense, the sand was super soft, the waters were crystal clear and the lush tropical vegetation was beautiful.
I wore this gorgeous maxi tank style swim coverup from L*space with denim shorts and strappy Cocobelle sandals for the day. The maxi coverup pairs perfectly with any bikini underneath; you can wear it hooked, unhooked or pair it with shorts for a resortstyle outfit. I love the crochet detailing at the bust and sides. And the best accessory for this coverup? The sea breeze of course! It moves so beautifully with the wind. Of course I had to do a Titanic pose on our ride to the island! Too bad my Jack was busy clicking away!
Love this bikini also from L*space, the minty color was absolutely perfect for the pristine blue waters of the Maldives. The colorful towel is from Las Bayadas and is made from high quality Mexican cotton.
Some of my fave beach products are the self tanners by Bare Minerals and the hair and body spray by Herbivore Botanicals. PS – the coconut sea salt hair spray smells delicious!!)
Happy 10 years to us! So glad to have crossed this amazing experience off our bucket list!
