Another post from our trip to Santa Barbara for Memorial Day weekend. On the way to SB, we stopped over in Solvang – a little slice of Danish paradise right here in the heart of California. I didn’t even know about this super cute town; thanks to some of my insta-friends who suggested that we visit it on our way to SB. The city has a ton of bakeries, restaurants, and merchants offering a taste of Denmark in California. We had a delicious Danish style meal, including lip-smacking Aebleskivers (a donut hold like pastry dusted with sugar powder and doused in fruit jam). The architecture of many of the facades and buildings reflects traditional Danish style.
I wore this casual off the shouldered floral dress by Powell and Mason, which was perfect for exploring the town. I love wearing block heels when I have a lot of walking to do (and dont want to wear flats ;)). They are super comfy and look so chic. I paired the shoes with a studded crossbody of the similar color, to finish off this look.
