Swimwear Recap- part 2

Did you catch part 1 of the swimwear recap from Kauai ? In this second part of the series, I am again featuring three more suits that I currently love.

This printed suit is by a brand called Gypsea Swimwear from Australia. This brand creates incredibly beautiful “wearable art” swimwear. Most designs on Gypsea are the work of a designer as well as surf photographer – hence the end products are gorgeous one of a kind suits that all have real nature photographs on them. I love this concept as each piece is such a masterpiece by itself. My design is a pastel minty print called Zee Pop; which went perfectly with the Hawaiian waters. This was such a fun shoot with the hubs, we stumbled across this stunning secluded beach with insanely gorgeous views of the mountains – it was SO picture perfect. I am sure the pictures can tell how much fun we had that day!

Next up – Triangl swimwear! This Aussie brand needs no explanation, am I right?! These gorgeous neoprene based designs come in an array of colors – from bright neon to pastels to basics like black/white. They are figure flattering and very comfortable. This particular design is called the Winnie (color : Jessy Nightfox) . The mesh adds a little sporty chic to the suit and I love the contrast of the neon against the black. This is my second Triangl suit and it goes without saying that I am addicted to this brand (the third one is on its way, can’t wait to wear it in the Cali summer!). Catch my first review post of the Milly design from Triangl here.

For the final swim look, I decided to make it a bit more editorial-ish, and stuck to a theme of black and gold. This was the second shoot with Kauai fashion photographer Rhonda Forsberg. This pretty black suit is by yet another Australian brand (Aussies sure know how to make cute suits, don’t they!) called Sonoire swimwear. I usually do not wear tons of jewelry to the beach, but for this look I decided to change it up, with a gold statement necklace and arm cuff. I truly felt like a tropical queen! Statement jewelry over suits would make a great option while going for a pool party or even if you just want to feel ultra glamorous on the beach :). I also love this fringe beach sweater coverup by L*Space swimwear. Even though it is made from a knit material, it is extremely lightweight and airy and makes a great option as a beach coverup.
