Boston Blooms

I am beyond excited for today’s post for way too many reasons : the photography collab, the outfit, the necklace, and of course the  spring blossoms. This season fun printed pants are huge from palazzo pants, harem pants to jogger pants. I love this trend as its so comfortable, looks so stylish and is such a cute alternative to jeans. I paired these black/white abstract printed jogger pants with a simple white cross over crop top. Again, similar rules as I had mentioned in my Palazzo Pants post , apply while sporting jogger pants : keep the top fitted , 1 statement accessory and keep everything else simple and you should be all set! Both the top and bottom are from Vamped Boutique. Definitely swing by their store in Saugus or shop online for super trendy ah-ma-zing clothing and accessories at great prices. They have something for everyone, whether you are looking for something casual and simple, or wild and edgy. Use code “CUPPAJYO” and enjoy 10% your purchase!

To finish the look, I wore a bright pinkish red lip and silver accessories : shoes and the necklace. This unique silver statement necklace  is from Susie Raine started by 2 wonderful ladies Susie and Raine. This is a luxe jewelry boutique for stunning current trends and breathtaking classic pieces. I am so honored that this necklace will be named “JYOTSNA” and will be up on their site shortly. Until then, they have so many pieces that you can choose from. aaand use the code: Jyotsna10 to get 10% off on your order! (not valid for sale items).

I love Boston so much; every season is so distinct. Although I complain so much about snow, if it means trudging through snowy days to wake up to beautiful spring blooms, I can take it! Springtime in Boston is absolutely breathtaking; the air is crisp, the weather is just right, there are flowers everywhere, it just makes my heart sing a happy song! This is why in todays post, other than the  outfit itself I wanted to share with you the beauty of this gorgeous city. These shots are all taken at the Esplanade along Charles River. For all you Boston folks, I highly recommend you go and visit this dreamy location, before all the cherry blossoms fall off.

A huge thank you to my dear friend, fellow blogger and photographer : Rohan D’Souza, who took all these photos. It was such a hard decision to choose the best 8-10 among the 100 plus fantastic photos from this shoot! Rohan is seriously one of the most talented persons I know; and photography is just one of his areas of magic. He is an avid traveller and has captured the beauty of so many amazing landscapes, architecture and people during his globe trotting adventures. I should mention that he was a huge inspiration for me to start my own blog. He gave me a whole wordpress 101/starting your own blog tutorial/camera recommendations well before Cuppajyo, all while he was recovering from his ACL surgery. Hah, what a champ! Click here to see a little snippet of my class with him ;). He has two blogs himself : My New ACL and The Konkan Express. For all you foodies and non foodies, you have to check this one out. (Disclaimer : your mouth will water just scrolling through the food blog!)
