Tribal prints

Many of Spring/Summer 2014’s runway collections had hints of tribal folklore ; from rich embroidery to bold graphic prints and I for one am loving this contemporary lively trend! I am seeing so many beautiful tribal print inspired pieces in stores now from tassels to native prints and embroidery on clothing and accessories like bags, wedges, etc. Again, with this gorgeous eclectic print, it is important to be subtle and not overdo it. In my outfit, I wore this cobalt blue/orange/sky blue tribal printed tailored crop top over white skorts (love skorts; as they have the comfort of shorts and the pretty factor of a skirt!). I stuck to the cobalt blue and orange color palette for accessories; cobalt blue fringed earrings (to add to the tribal theme), cobalt flats, a simple orange wristlet and a bright orange lip. Orange lips is one of the hottest spring beauty trends to sport right now, again seen on many runway models and celebrities alike. I will make sure to add a orange lips post later this season :).
